The Austin Design company is a group of artisans that craft each and every piece by hand. They pride themselves not only in their original designs but also in the quality and workmanship that goes into every piece. They blend the colors and elements to create a feeling of the ocean. The sea-style glass used in the jewelry is primarily recycled glass, created from broken bottles, stained glass remnants, and beads. This colorful glass is broken, formed and finished in their studio, then tumbled with genuine beach sand, gravel, and salt water to replicate the roll of ocean waves. The resulting sand-etched finish turns these pieces into modern sea jewels, resembling the natural beach glass found along the shore.
