After working in sales and marketing, she decided to try self-employment, and began making luminaries. Starrylights have evolved over the years and have become a best seller. Beth is always working on new designs to keep the collection fresh, and because she is an artist, people are charmed by the luminaries, and the price point causes no hesitation. -
Ray's Pottery has a goal: to enhance the celebration of daily life and enrich its simple joys. They strive to create an intimate connection between human hands when using pots, a shared moment that often seems increasingly absent in one's life. All of the pottery produced by Ray's Pottery is handmade. It is either thrown on a potters' wheel, slab built or extruded. It is then fired in a kiln, which uses propane for fuel, to 2350 degrees Fahrenheit. The material and imagery handpicked for the buttons of the late 1800s ~ early 1900s reflect the history of that period. Elizabeth loves to play with color and design through all mediums. Tom’s inspirations include: organic shapes in the New England countryside, the ocean in its fluid changing forms, and the music and dance that fill his life outside the jewelry studio and reminds him of the proportion, balance, movement and grace he strives for in his jewelry designs. His design process incorporates a lifelong exploration of linear forms in space, and attention to the interplay of aesthetics and the fabrication process (if it’s too complicated to make, it’s probably not a good design!). -

Kim has always loved to draw so the fine detailing required in carving was just right for him. He has been a full time scrimshaw artist for 40 years. Once he purchases fossils from the Native American Indians in Alaska, he works around cracks, fissures and chunks of bark as he slices, polishes and engraves them. Thus a fossilized mastodon or mammoth develops a story of its own---designed and carved by Kim and reproduced by his wife, Katherine in a sculptural casting resin base. Kim creates a wide variety of designs including trees, nature, wildlife, women/fairies, nautical, Judaica, celestial...and the list goes on! Each engraving is also available as a standalone jewelry piece. Engravings are available as wearables, money clips and as framed and matted images. -
The Austin Design company is a group of artisans that craft each and every piece by hand. They pride themselves not only in their original designs but also in the quality and workmanship that goes into every piece. They blend the colors and elements to create a feeling of the ocean. The sea-style glass used in the jewelry is primarily recycled glass, created from broken bottles, stained glass remnants, and beads. This colorful glass is broken, formed and finished in their studio, then tumbled with genuine beach sand, gravel, and salt water to replicate the roll of ocean waves. The resulting sand-etched finish turns these pieces into modern sea jewels, resembling the natural beach glass found along the shore. The matte finish and beachy colors combine in a peaceful way mimicking the peace found when sitting or walking any shoreline. -
Torn between his passion for both art and business, David left his hospitality financial consulting career to travel the world to write, paint, and contemplate his future. After three years of adventures around the globe, he ended up in the East Village of New York City in 1991. Determined to pursue a more creative path, he purchased a small bag of beads from an African bead store and taught himself how to make earrings. The business grew as David drove throughout New York and New England selling his creations store-to-store. His travels eventually led him to the Mad River Valley in Vermont where he decided to relocate. Today, the Baked Beads company continues to grow by offering clean, colorful jewelry, scarves, and other accessories emphasizing style and moderate price points. Most importantly, David, his wife Robin and their amazing crew are having as much fun making jewelry today as they were 25 years ago.
