Founded in 2006, Anne Vaughan Designs was created so Anne could find a way to work while doing her first job – being a mom. Created in the basement of a tiny brick ranch home, Anne began creating one piece of jewelry a day as a side hustle after the birth of her son, Gabe. Soon her husband Aaron was creating displays and traveling with her to shows and teaching himself print and web marketing at night in order to help her. As her collection grew she embraced the idea of layering. Her necklaces are stunning as one and become dramatic statements telling a story when worn in layers. Anne’s choice of materials and her expertise with color make her a stand out in the American handmade jewelry arena. Tens of thousands of pieces of distinct jewelry later (all handcrafted in her Virginia studio) and dozens of retail locations across the United States, Anne continues to design each individual item with a talented team of makers supporting her work. -
Illustrated Light handcrafts every one of their pieces using stunning images from Colorado and other nature landscapes. Alongside the photography of David Clack, Illustrated Light partnered with artist Shelly Hearne. Her designs and delicate artwork are available in a wide variety of their jewelry styles. Luke Adams is a Boston, MA based glass artist and graduate of Massart. He works with a group of artist assistants to produce his work in glass. Luke states: “From the age of five I know that I was an artist, some of my earliest memories are of drawing and sketching the world around me. Working with hot glass is incredibly fun and rewarding. The creator behind all this whimsy is Rebecca Grills a resident of Mystic, CT. Rebecca's first business launched a frozen pizza —"Mystic Pizza"—to supermarkets up and down the east coast. After selling the business in 2001, Rebecca turned her stained glass hobby into her dream business. Armed with an MBA from the University of Connecticut, a creative passion for all things colorful, and a vision of fun, Rebecca and Summer Glass are brightening homes and businesses nationwide. In the summer of 2003, Summer Glass opened a renovated studio just a stones throw away from the Mystic River. The structure dates back 100 years, but is now functioning in the 21st century! -
Steve has been making unique and decorative functional pottery for 24 years. He uses a variety of airbrush, resist and glazing techniques to achieve his Rising Moon Pattern which depicts the moon rising over the North Carolina mountains he calls home. The pottery is safe for the microwave, oven, dishwasher and it is lead free. -
Marty Kubicki does all of the design work, original engravings, master mold work, and is personally involved in every aspect of The Porcelain Garden studio. Their first creations were functional household ceramics, with sculpted flower decorations; hence the name “The Porcelain Garden.” During the early 1980s, the artists started carving in translucent porcelain, and enjoyed the direction that their work was taking them. When they were introduced to Lithophanes by a collector, they had never seen such amazing work done in porcelain before! This wonderful art form had nearly disappeared, and only a few people were still familiar with it. There was a huge potential appeal that these beautiful artworks had, so the artists set out to reintroduce Lithophanes to the world. They originated the concept of Lithophanes as nightlights, at a time when few artists were making tasteful and artistic nightlights. Their long-term commitment to supplying the highest quality porcelain lighting possible has resulted in an enormously loyal following and notable respect in the American Handcrafts Community. -

Ray's Pottery has a goal: to enhance the celebration of daily life and enrich its simple joys. Kim has always loved to draw so the fine detailing required in carving was just right for him. He has been a full time scrimshaw artist for 40 years. Once he purchases fossils from the Native American Indians in Alaska, he works around cracks, fissures and chunks of bark as he slices, polishes and engraves them. Thus a fossilized mastodon or mammoth develops a story of its own---designed and carved by Kim and reproduced by his wife, Katherine in a sculptural casting resin base. Kim creates a wide variety of designs including trees, nature, wildlife, women/fairies, nautical, Judaica, celestial...and the list goes on! The Austin Design company is a group of artisans that craft each and every piece by hand.
