Michael is inspired by the colors of the waters of Cape Cod, the Sea Bubble Collection infuses images of sea bubbles, flowing into waves of cobalt blue and emerald green color to capture the spirit of the ocean in glass. "I was able to integrate the cobalt blue and emerald green into the bubble technique that I learned in Japan," says Michael who operates the studio with his wife Keiko. "I like to use a lot of bubbles... it makes each piece exclusive and more alive. You see something new every time." Each piece is hand blown and unique in design, color and size. -

For decades STICKS has been creating unique functional art for the home. Each piece is individually crafted, hand carved and hand painted. No two are ever alike. SINCERELY STICKS is created by pulling a high resolution photograph of the image from a handmade original. An in house ink printing process brings the image onto a wooden structure. It is finished with several coats of the same polyurethane that is used on an original. The end result has visible paint strokes and wood grain, a work of art to be treasured for years sure to become a family heirloom. -

Marbling involves manipulating paint that is floated on a sizing medium, and transferring that pattern to a surface. Trees are pruned by sun, water, wind, and humans. Yet, they continue to emit oxygen reminding us that each living thing has worth regardless of how life has shaped it. Tracie was a professional silk artist for several years before transitioning to fused glass jewelry in 2001 when she teamed up with Barb DeVeer. Tracie was drawn to the vibrantly colored glass medium as bright colors have always been a fundamental component of her art, but she especially loved the kinetic movement she could achieve with the jewelry via unique ear wires, layering of glass and dangling beads. Tracie also loved the challenge of precision glass fusing, a trademark of DeVeer Designs. All of the unique glass elements found in the DeVeer Collection are made in Montana. Each piece of glass is hand cut from large sheets, sometimes etched. Designs are created by layering and then each piece is placed in the kiln and heated to temperatures ranging from 1400 to 1600 degrees. After cooling slowly, the glass is then drilled for ear wires or bales and assembled. The ear wires are sterling silver or gold filled, often hand turned and many are of original designs which give the finished work of art it’s unique look. -

St Clair Designs is a small company located in Woodland Park, CO (West of Colorado Springs). All of their beautiful bags are made by the owner, Megan, and a handful of home sewers in her little mountain town. The endless variety of fabrics, incorporating vast amounts of different patterns, colors, and textures all pieced together with an artistic eye, is what sets St Clair Designs’ products apart. Megan finds her fabrics from a variety of different places, including online companies, retail fabric stores (when they have good sales) and from several interior design manufactures who send along their “left-overs”. The more different incorporated into a pattern the better! Each pattern goes through a process of “testing” during the design process, to include alterations like adding a pocket here or there, changing a regular strap to an adjustable one, and so on. Each design is also given a name, often named after the woman who inspired the design, or after an important person in Megan’s life! -

Sam and Sarah Costanza began throwing pots in West Palm beach Florida. Sam’s college education included an apprenticeship with the head ceramics professor at palm beach Atlantic University. His close knit family all have a love of pottery, with his wife Sarah, her sister Jessica and husband Frisner they created success with Palm Beach Pottery. In 2012 after meeting the owners of Mosquito Mud Pottery they were trained in their techniques and purchased the business. We are now proud to say they are a “local” artisans with a studio in CT. All designs are functional stoneware ideal for cooking, serving and décor. They use high fire stoneware and make all of their own glazes. Each piece is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. As potters and artists they feel it is very important to "blend art into daily life”. -
Three Crow Glass is an artisanal glass studio located in the heart of the Old Quebec. The studio is owned, managed and operated by Christina Mayr and Jeff Ferrier; two glassblowers with over 20 years of experience in the craft. Despite its current location and visibility, Three Crow Glass had its inception in an unlikely place. In 2002, Jeff and Christina opened their first mutual glass blowing studio in the town of Saint-Ignace-du-Lac. A place known for two things: being isolated and historically flooded. The couple worked relentlessly. Every day, three crows, perched on the closest branch, would observe their toil with a sarcastic detachment. Before long, the glassblowers decided that one day, those three idlers would work for them. It took 8 years of labour for the young enterprise to finally move out of seclusion to Saint Charles close to Quebec City. Simultaneously, Jeff and Christina were able to open a boutique in the Old Quebec to sell their works in retail for the first time. The boutique grew for 6 years in the Petit Champlain district before moving right next to City Hall in 2016. Today, Three Crow Glass is a must-see feature of the historic center of Quebec City. Visitors are invited to witness how Jeff and Christina create glass art following traditional methods. Every day, they are helped by talented assistants and a friendly sales staff in the transmission of their passion for glass craft. -

Steve has been making unique and decorative functional pottery for 24 years. He uses a variety of airbrush, resist and glazing techniques to achieve his Rising Moon Pattern which depicts the moon rising over the North Carolina mountains he calls home. Marty Kubicki does all of the design work, original engravings, master mold work, and is personally involved in every aspect of The Porcelain Garden studio. Their first creations were functional household ceramics, with sculpted flower decorations; hence the name “The Porcelain Garden.” During the early 1980s, the artists started carving in translucent porcelain, and enjoyed the direction that their work was taking them. When they were introduced to Lithophanes by a collector, they had never seen such amazing work done in porcelain before! This wonderful art form had nearly disappeared, and only a few people were still familiar with it. There was a huge potential appeal that these beautiful artworks had, so the artists set out to reintroduce Lithophanes to the world. They originated the concept of Lithophanes as nightlights, at a time when few artists were making tasteful and artistic nightlights. Their long-term commitment to supplying the highest quality porcelain lighting possible has resulted in an enormously loyal following and notable respect in the American Handcrafts Community. -

Ray's Pottery has a goal: to enhance the celebration of daily life and enrich its simple joys. They strive to create an intimate connection between human hands when using pots, a shared moment that often seems increasingly absent in one's life. All of the pottery produced by Ray's Pottery is handmade. It is either thrown on a potters' wheel, slab built or extruded. It is then fired in a kiln, which uses propane for fuel, to 2350 degrees Fahrenheit.
